Embroidable illustrations for beautiful kits

Studio Kokomo was apporached by Journey of Something - a Melbourne-based retailer dedicated to artful ways to play - to develop three designs to be used as templates for their new embroidery kits.

There was challenges in executing this brief - the number of colours that each design could use was limited, and the illustrations had to contain enough character and detail to be engaging, while also using plenty of larger blocks of colour to make the embroidery achievable for first time makers.

The final result is three delightful designs that can be proudly displayed on any keen crafter’s wall.
